He is about a 5-6 month old 10lb terrier mix who came to us from the animal shelter as he could not stop bleeding from his neuter incision. We discovered he has a very rare bleeding disorder called Hemophilia A, which is caused by a lack of blood clotting factor VIII. Without enough factor VIII, the blood cannot clot properly to control bleeding. He required a special blood transfusion to stop the bleeding from his incision and now he is all healed and ready to find a new home. Due to his bleeding disorder, we need to find a home that has a lower risk of him getting injuries. Even though he is a super friendly guy, he should live without any other pets. Phillip loves everyone he meets! He loves to play and loves to prance on walks! He has a great little spirit despite growing up in a veterinary hospital!
